I think I already mentioned something about each of this arc's episodes opening with a flashback -- in this case these are actually two flashbacks. The opening scene at the reactor is supposed to take place between ep. 3 (which ended with Naomi in bed at night) and ep. 4 (which opened with Naomi in bed the next morning). So it's the night after Naomi had been at the reactor. The idea behind it was that whatever Naomi did gave A.D enough information to "get the creature out of there" (which Motes says at the end of ep. 3), and that's what they did in this flashback. The next one with Michelle on this and the previous page is a bit ambivalent... there are two possible interpretations I endorse, but I won't tell. The only important things is that this IS a flashback, happening before we jump to the present (signified by the panel focussing on the raindrops), which is were ep. 4 left off: Deckard sending the Golem after Ludwig on the parking lot, with Michelle watching.
