When making a comic, the first thing you'll have to acknowledge is that you can't possibly make all pages look nearly as good as they should. So I'm happy if every once in a while there'll be a page which I'm satisfied with -- you guessed it, this would be such a page. Especially since I never, and mean NEVER, draw dragons. As usual, laziness prevented me from looking up reference. So I searched my mind for the quint-essential dragon, and it ended up Chinese-looking... even though we do have some cool German ones. But I would have to look them up! ^_^

So, WHY a dragon? A year or two ago, this comic was reviewed on comicfencing.com, and one of the criticisms that struck me was that one reviewer complained how suddenly a talking gorilla would appear out of the blue. I imagine this reviewer wouldn't be too happy with a suddenly appearing dragon as well! But as always, the whys and hows will only be revealed slowly, ever so slowly -- especially since the talking gorilla is old news by now but still hasn't been justified.
