I decided to go for a splash page here, with text as dense as this at least there's some eye-candy to balance it. I try to condense the dialogue as much as possible (well, actually, it's more in the way of making it as efficient as possible, but you know what I mean), but hey - I'm not making picture books y'know :-D

The scenery was inspired by the images that lingered in my mind from the recent attack on a toll station in Serbia... because of the Kosovo conflict. The reason I write fiction is because it can do more justice to reality than nonfiction (although I may deny the truth of this statement later on).

I drew this page while staying in Austria for a week, far far away from any 'net access. The compulsion to check for comments and mails never really goes away, but it's still veeeerrrryyy relaxing every once in a while.

BTW, I forgot to take my rulers with me, so the fact that I didn't have to draw panels was quite convenient!
